A Wyndham Clark birdie bid that would have sent the tournament to a playoff lipped out at the last second, and Scheffler had officially won the 2024 Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass.
He becomes the first player in tournament history to repeat as champion and is the sixth person to win the event multiple times.
In addition to the prestige of winning the tournament, Scheffler also secured the generous cash prize.
