Hannah Brandt recorded her fourth hat trick of the season and Sarah Potomak had two goals and five assists as No. 3-ranked University of Minnesota cruised to an 11-1 win over Minnesota State Mankato on Friday at the Verizon Wireless Center in Mankato, Minn.
Brandt scored a goal in each period, bringing her season total to a league-leading 19.
Dani Cameranesi, who is tied with Brandt for the WCHA scoring lead with 37 points each, scored the first of her two goals six minutes into the game, and the Gophers (14-1-0, 10-1-0 WCHA) led 5-0 after the first period.
