Earlier this summer, the St. Louis Blues signed Vladimir Tarasenko to the most expensive contract in franchise history. Tarasenko’s eight-year $60 million contract will keep him with the Blues until the 2023.
With just two years experience in the NHL, Tarasenko’s new contract makes him one of the 20 highest-paid players in the league.
Despite missing five games last year Tarasenko’s 37 goals was enough to tie for fifth in the league. Along the way he scored several highlight reel worthy goals, like the one below.
