KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Even with an off week in the schedule, the Western Michigan hockey team was able to stay at No. 12 in the latest USA Hockey/The Rink Live poll.
The Broncos finished the first half of the season with an 11-4-1 record, including sweeps of Bowling Green, Colorado College, St. Lawrence and Lindenwood. They also earned series victories over Ferris State, Omaha and Denver.
The Brown and Gold will be back in action on Dec. 30 for an exhibition contest against Western Ontario for a final tune-up before the second half of the regular season.
